I recently bought a Pioneer 7800MP and have been attempting with no luck to download my own OEL displays into it using the Pioneer OEL ScreenSaver Studio software from Pioneerelectronics.com with no luck. Everytime I put the disc in it says "Disc Error, Push Eject" Pioneer's instructions on the "How To" site are very vague and I'm wondering if anyone has downloaded OEL displays sucessfully using this software. Are you supposed to create a folder on the CD you burn, and then put the LKA file in there? Or do you just burn the LKA file straight to the CD with no folder? Anyhow, any help would be appreciated.

It's a pretty sweet deck, and I'd love to put some of my own pics into it, but I can't get it to do that for me. Its rather frustrating. I had the exact same problem a few years ago with a previous Pioneer I owned with the Organic Display.

We have one up at work on display too, I can navigate all the menus, but it have to expeience w/ the computer software.Im thinking of bringing my laptop into work, and getting a ecm9000 mic and a belhringer shark preamp to do some db testing, and I was going to put some jvc, kenwood, and some pionerr software on it and play around on it somemore. The Kenwood stuff if really simple....but from someone else I hear the pioneer software is kinda like operating Itunes while you have a buzz.......just wrong. If I get some info before someone else posts w/ something helpful to ya I'll post back w/ something,GL

I haven't been able to figure out if you lose the factory ones yet, however, from the Pioneer website, you can download all of the original factory ones so if you did lose them, you could get them again. That is if you could figure out how to download new ones into it in the first place.
