Setting up new Key fobs for Viper

I have an viper alarm (I think its like a 535 or something like that) in my truck.  There are two key FOBs and i have had them replaced within a year since i bought the alarm.  Had it installed professionally.

Here is the background:  They key FOBS work great for about 6 months, then seem to get intermittant, and then just stop working.  I went it and saw them about it, they said that it is a known problem and that the batterie hold down breaks it's soldered joint and breaks the circuit.  I was told they just resolder them and then give them back.  So today i grabbed one of the old key FOBS and resoldered the joints.  Worked great, the unit works awesome now. 

BUT i'm guessing its not been in use for so long, that it has lost its programming?   Is it an easy thing to reprogram the key FOB or to re-code it so it works with the alarm again?

I have the working key FOB if that makes a difference.

My bad.  It is a 350HV.

I took the transmitter out by the truck and pressed the Lock/Unlock button repeatedly and it didn't sync.  Is there anything else  you can do?

Can't seem to get that to work.  Is there an alternate procedure? or is that the generic Viper thing?
