Hi,

I had a problem on my Avantguard 5.

Sometimes after a few seconds of arming the alarm chirps one time...(the sound of proximity sensor)

What can be the problem?

I just read the owner's manual, but i can't find anything :(.

In the biggining i thought that it was remote batery, but it says on manual he chirp on desarming, not arming!!

I will try read the manual better...

either the door trigger isnt working properly or the installer used the domelight sup instead of the door trigger....arm the alarm, and after that second chirp wait for the domelight to go out, then reach inside and manually open the door. Also arm the alarm and after that second chirp, open the door manually before the light goes out, check that out and post your results. I'd like to bet that the installer used the domelight supervision wire instead of the door trigger.Sometimes if im in a hurry or whatever the reason, Ill use domelight sup instead of the door trigger, but I always explain it to the customer.
