I have a pioneer 5700 that is missing the resistor that goes inline on the accesory wire. When I was moving out I accidentally stepped on the wires and completely destroyed the resistor attached to the accesory wire.

If anyone have a similar unit and is able to see the color code of the resistor or better yet the value, can you please let me know.

Is pretty much the only thing I need just to get this baby on my ride. I'm not quite sure if I could use it without the resistor. I really dont want to try it, might be my luck and fry the unit. I would really appreciate any help provided.

Thanks in advanced.

don't remember what the vlue was, but if you're that worried about it, just grab a .5 amp glass fuse and holder and throw that in.  will work the same way.
