avic-n3 remote wire?

my brand new avic-n3 remote wire is always hot(12 volts), when ignition is on. i can even take the face plate off and the amps will stay on??????has anyone else ever come across this?? what is the fix??

All pioneer Nav units are like this, it's so when you have the unit off y ou still get voice guidance

i dont believe that. i called pioneer, they even said that it should not be like that. the power antena wire stays hot also.

every pioneer nav I've installed since the avicn1 came out does this.
