Python 871xp

I have a 2002 dodge ram quad cab with a Python 871xp with remote start and the window module..my problem is the remote start stopped working, when i hit the * button twice it will make the parking lights flash and remote will give me the yellow led like its going to start but it doesnt...my windows also lock up and i cant roll them down..if i hit the aux button i can roll them down and if i arm the system i can roll them up..is there something i can check or do i need to have someone else look at it...thanks..jojoe01

about the remote start, you can use your LED to see what the problem is. ShutDown Diagnostic read your install manaulNote: You Always Dont Get What You Pay For.

ill double check the manual, i thik it finally times out and makes the remote beep...i have to press * twice again so i can start it.. if i dont when i put the key in and try to start it it acts like it is remote started..what i mean by pressing ** again is like i am turning it off from the remote like it was remote started..jojoe01

when i try to remote start it the remote yellow light flashes and the remote gives the 2 beeps like it should of started...about 1 or 2 minutes later the remote beeps twice and the yellow light flashes 3 times..jojoe01

look at the LED in the car not the remote, in the manural it has a shut down diagnostic , telling you why the did not start or if shut down.

 the red light on the dash  blinks like normal about every second..i watched it until it timed out and no change..the parking lights flashed a couple of times like the truck was remote started then the remote beeps and the yellow light flashes..jojoe01

look at page 48 of the install guide maybe th eowners have it too look for shut down diagnostic and fowollw directions
