Connecting the CCA-673 Video with iPod Cable

1)      Connect the CCA-673 to the dedicated iPod Cable Port located on the back of the VRX765VD.Connect the Yellow RCA from the CCA-673 to the Yellow Visual RCA located on the back of the VRX765VD.

Operating the Video with iPod Playback Feature

1)      On the Video with iPod go into the Video Menu.

2)      Then select  Video Settings.

3)      Make sure that the TV Out function is ON. To turn this feature ON or OFF press the center of the Click Wheel on the iPod.

4)      Now that the TV Out feature is ON, connect the Video with iPod to the CCA-673 Cable.

5)      On the VRX765VD go to the iPod Source.

6)      When the iPod Source appears and it now displays the iPod Type Click Wheel. Press and Hold the Menu Button for two seconds until the screen goes black. At this time you will also notice that the iPod is now un-locked and does not display Clarion on the iPod Screen.

7)      Using the iPod select a video file to view and press play.

8)      The video from the iPod will now play on the screen of the VRX765VD.

       NOTE:

For your safety, Clarion provides a safety feature which turns off the video image when the vehicle

is in motion; Only the audio can be heard. The video image can only be viewed when the vehicle

is safely stopped and the parking brake is engaged.

If “AUDIO ONLY” appears on the screen while the key is in the ACCESSORY or IGNITION position,

the following procedure must be performed:

1. Safely stop the vehicle

2. Engage the parking brake

3. Release the parking brake

4. Engage the parking brake. The video image will only appear while the parking brake

is set. Once the parking brake is released, it will return to “AUDIO ONLY.”
