Lincoln LS will not start

OK I got a phone call from work tonight at about 9pm that I will be going into a problem tomorrow morning. The car is a Lincoln LS not sure of the year but I know it is new 2002+ they did an alarm/remote start/keyless on it today and the install went fine as far as I can tell the problem they said is that the factory security is preventing the vehicle from starting like a timed lockout Im not sure of all the specifics and I will know more in the morning but assuming the remote start is not the problem and I dont think it is what else should I look for? Just trying to get a head start on it thanks in advance and I'll let you know what I find out and let me know if you need more info. Thank You

well depending on the bypass used on that car i would start with that. your saying there is a or could be a problem with the cars factory security.
have you connected to the factory disarm wire to diffuse the security before remote start. another thing that might be happening is with the bypass moudle. the car might be seing two keys. at the cylander and messing with it.
you mighe have to set up a relay to disable status putput wire going to the bypass via the keysence wire.
which means use the keysence wire to activate a relay to disconnect the status wire to the bypass so the car will not see two keys at the cylander. also check your igintion wires one could be loose or something cause it not to start. hope this helps some what later.

I concur with Jon on the potential problem and will add that you have to make sure that the ground on the bypass module is secure and absolute. Check to see if the THEFT light is flashing fast after remote start or after take over of the key. If it is, then wire in the relay to isolate the bypass module from the key cylinder.

OK some more info for you guys the car is a 2004 model year, the bypass module used is the 555F as the customer does not want to lose a key this module only has a constant 12v and a ground which goes to the ground when starting wire of the remote start both connections are secure. Also this unit has not been programmed yet as we do not have 2 keys so I do not believe that the ignition is seeing 2 keys in addition I have also unhooked the module completely and still no luck, with the factory key in the run position I get quick flashes on the security light also if I put the key in the ignition and attempt to remote start it will do the same thing it will go all the way to when the starter is supposed to kick in and then the security light flashes quickly. Thanks again

OK more info just got off the phone with DEI the 555F that they installed on this vehicle does not work on this vehicle the actual part is the 1100F for those interested so i disconnected it completely as this had been done before also while testing there was no change to the status of the vehicle just some more info for you

OK the car lives again. Turns out that while installer number 1 was checking fuses last night installer number 2 tells him that it's not a fuse so installer 1 stops looking. Can you take a wild guess as to what the problem may have been? I got a good laugh out of it though installer number 2 happens to be the lead installer here and I called hima nd told him the dealership was going to charge 2200 dollars because the BCM had to be replaced almost made it worth wasting my whole morning on. So lesson learned and thanks for the help guys
