Hi,

I am pushing a L7 solobaric with a 500 watt Rockford fosgate amp...so basically there plenty more room for a bigger better amp.

But I have a extra rockford fosgage 500 watt amp laying on the side I would like to use.

Can I connect them together to push one speaker? any info is appreciated. thanx

You cannot just bridge any two amps together. The amps must have been designed to run bridged with eachother.
What model are the amps?

If the sub is DVC, you can run one amp to each voice coil, otherwise you cannot just strap (what you are describing in called "strapping") any two amplifiers together. And there are NO strappable Rockford Fosbreak amplifers, at all.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Interesting. I found the strapping cables for RockfordFosgate BD class amps...but can't find any class BD amps with the strapping port.  http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/product_details.asp?cat_id=5&series_id=52&family_id=54&item_id=93477&locale=en_US

I thought Rockford foagate was best of the best? what better that them?

I dont like pioneer or kenwood or sony amps.

Also, my solobaric has dual voice coils.  so I am reading I can hook up a amp to a each coil

I like Fosgate...but have not had any experience with their new stuff. Quality can change quite a bit year to year.
