Carpet to cover sub enclosure

Two questions here, First of all where can I find the type of carpet to fit over a sub enclosure? The enclosure isnot a box its fibreglassed and has curves, so Im guessing I need some type of stretchy carpet? Also, I have done 2 layers of fibreglass onto the box and the enclosure is not flexible at all, is two layers good enough? This is my first enclosure

Ok I just seen the sticky with the glass layers explained, but I would still like to know about the stretchy carpet or a method to put carpeting on it

no one knows? wal-mart or any store like that sell what im looking for? also would it be a good idea to just recover the enclosure in a nice fleece?

Partsexpress.com has some good carpet.  You just need something that is not backed, and it should be strechy enough.  Use 3M Super 77 to glue it down with after sanding it with 80grit sandpaper.

And remeber....just like Remy does on Unique Whips.....you only need to cover the FRONT of the enclosure

Any non backed carpet or fleece will work as long as it's not too stiff. There are some CHEAP stuff from Wal-Mart that will not work well with tight smaller curves. Larger/longer curves you will be OK with.Jeff

A great site was posted somewhere on here a while back, so I'll pass it on: denverfabrics.com They have just about anything you can think of, it's cheap, and they'll mail you a swatch of it for $1 and it takes about 2-3 days to get your order. There are lots of good local fabric shops, but I haven't found one yet that has this kind of selection (plus they have automotive vinyls to match OEM colors if you want that factory look).
