kinda of a new to wiring my own subwoofers but i recently bought a solo-baric L7 12" speaker. The speaker is 4ohms and i have it hooked up to 2 channel 1000w amp. when bridged the amp puts out 1000w at 4ohm load. i have the subwoofer hooked up to put out 8ohms. what will haappen if i put it at 2 ohms? and what is the best set up that i can have to get the most out of this sub. cuz right now it sounds good but i beleive it can sound better

sounds like you got the wrong subs for that amp. run them at 2 ohms at your own risk. It will probably go in protect mode if you dont have it tuned properly and overheat.
