i was driving along one day and outta no where silence, system completely off and deck also off....there was no "pop" or any mysterious sounds for me to work from.....i have since checked wiring, voltage at harness, and taken apart the hu for any signs of shorts and what not....when i push the power button on the radio there is a graphic on the right side that is barely lit (dim) and nothing else works (including motorization of the face) now there is one capacitor on the radios board and it looks as if there may be some leakage? has anyone attempted recapping a headunit b4?? or if anyone can give me something else to check b4 attempting this thanks for the help guys sorry so long winded
