Amp, 12db slope or a 24 db slope?

On my amp i have this choice between a 12db slope or a 24 db slope can you tell me what this means im running subs off this amp

It's the per octive rating of the active crossover. The 24db rating will more agressively remove the mids and highs from the subwoofers. If you like a little more midbass in your music use the 12db if not use the 24db.
There is no such thing as free installation!
