How to speed up cure time?

I have a question on how to speed up cure time, without using more hardener??? Is there a trick that I don't know about?? or is it just as easy as using more hardener? my old boxes i built i made batches of 8 oz or resin to work with. and if i put more hardener in then my working time cut in half, and so did the dry time. and i was wondering if there is a way to speed up curing time, and keep the working time of the resin?Trav

In the winter I use one of those metal (aluminum) trashcans with a lid. cut a 2" hole in the side at the bottom stick the tip of my hot air gun inside and I can cure a kick pannel in 45min to an hour with a normak amount of hardner. :)  only real problem is thst wouldnt work for LARGE projects. MECP Cert.

like mentioned heat...heat lamps work well for me as do space heaters... Qinstaller if it takes 45-hour inside a heat box setup then you are not mixing the resin right..should only take an hour under normal circumstances for resin to cure up...Fiberglass Guru.

Without warping the project you can't do much. If you have a good base bringing the project out in the sun will help the most.Jeff

Heat gun and sunlight are great ways to speed up the curing process. I like to at least let my first layer harden on it's own so the use of a heat gun doesn't creat warping problems.

fiberglass is prone to warping irregarless of how fast it cures... only thing that will alleiviate some of the warping is bracing and strength in layers...Fiberglass Guru.

Well i braced the the woofer ring very well, so i dont think i have to wory about it moving. i just thought there would be a better way then goin out and getting a bunch of heat lamps. thanks for the pointers. this will help out with the next box i build. thanks again.Trav
