I have a factory AM/FM with remote cassette player. My right side speakers, front and rear are both complete static regardless of speaker selection from fade/balance or volume. The radio , speakers and casstte player are connected through a sperate under dash unit, model # 16072800.
Thanx,
egrist

I don't see a question, but it sounds like you need to replace both speakers.

If you're getting static through both speakers no matter what I'd lean more toward needing a new tuner box, that silver box thing under the dash whatever it's really called.
