I am having a problem with a audio system.  When i turn up the volume past a certain point the music stops and a loud noise comes from my subs and i think my speakrs.  It is a continous very loud exploding noise.  The system consists of a clarion head unit.  An audiobahn amp and subs.  Thanks for any help, this is driving me crazy.

I bet the problem resides in the audiobling!!!! lol on a serious note, does the noise also exist when the volume is at zero?

ha yes audioballs does blow. This is NOT my system. The noise only occurs when it is at a loud volume.  We played songs at normal levels and it worked fine but when turned up all heck broke loose.

Let me better clarify the problem...

The beginning system had a pioneer head unit.   There was a constant sound from the subs even when the volume was at 0.   I have read many posts about how Pioneer head units can cause bad ground problems so we put a new Clarion head unit in today.  Now, the sound only occurs when the volume is turned about medium listening levels.  But the sound is alot worse and all music cuts off and only the big BURPPPPP occurs.  We turn the subs n amp off and the music plays normal throughout the interior speakers from low volume levels to high volume levels.  Any suggestions on what is going on here?
