I finally made my choice... I'll get a Eclipse 12" sw7200 (500wrms) + diamond audio amp D3 600.1 (450 X1 @ 2ohm)...

i think this is a good choice ?

But i have a problem... this amp is 2 X 35 amp.... and I already have a 2 X 20 amp for my speakers....

I have the new yaris 2007 wich is 80A.... of course my speakers are not at full power, maybe 40%, so its around 20A, but my sub will probably be 50%, so its gonna be around 35A...

Both are gonna be around 50A... is this too much for my car ? should i get a capacitor ? wich one ?

Another problem...Is this Ok if i have a 15feet 4awg, and a distributor block wich split it in 2 8awg (for around 3 or 4 feet)... the amp recommand 4awg, but my 8awg isnt long.. Should I get a new distributor block anyway ?

Thanks ;)

Caps are the fix...upgrade your big three...and what amp is 2x35 whatn you already have a 2x20 amp?
List model numbers and specs...all we know is your sub and sub amp.

wavdj:
90% of the time you'll be drawing less than 20A from your system, unless you listen at ear-harming volume levels for extended periods of time.
I personally don't think the "big three" need to be touched in most non-competition cars.
Also, 8awg is fine, but buy a fused distributor block or put fuses inline with the 8awg wire.
