Hi, I am a DIY person and have done several installations of other 12volt equipment and am ready to try installing the Parrot ck3000 in my 04 Nissan Titan with the Rockford Fosgate sound system.  I have serveral questions I would like help with before I jump in, screw driver in hand.

Does the RF head have a mute jack?

Does the RF head use the iso plugs Parrot mentions in their very skimpy instructions?

And here is the dumbest question I can think of... Where do you start to remove the head unit?  I don't see an obvious way to get the face pannel off.

I appreciate any help you can be.

Kirsplash,

PS  This is a great forum.

You might be better served getting answers about the mute wire, iso plugs, and how to remove the head unit at a Titan forum like http://www.titantalk.com/forums/.

It may not matter about the mute wire if you're not running any subwoofers or speakers in addition to the normal 4 speakers.  The Parrot unit goes inline of the two front and two rear speakers, so it takes over the speakers when it becomes active (incoming/outgoing call).  If you're running a sub, the 4 speakers will mute but the sub won't.  As for the iso plugs, you can cut them off of the Parrot unit and use bare wire leads if the head unit doesn't have them.
