Just had a customer come in with a 2004 Caddy cts, he wants us to custom a dash for an aftermarket head unit.  Not so sure that removing the factory deck is such a good idea.   Has anyone worked on one of these vehicles and has some info on what we can expect to happen?  Also, does anyone know if the JL cleansweep can be added to the factory system without any harsh side effects?

**This vehicle takes a good installer to work on it** Pretty much anyone with confidence. This vehice can be done, you need to keep the factory radio connected at all times DO NOT DISCONNECT THE FACTORY RADIO!! you can put an aftermarket radio below the factory and relocate the climate controls to make a proper fit. We have not used a JL cldsp on this car considering we put a eclipse radio in. Do not use any factory wiring!!! You will need to replace all speakers and use amplifiers. Run new speaker wire into the doors. other than that.. be careful and enjoy@!@!
