Is this sub with build in amp any good?

I agree. Do yourself a favor and compare other all-in-ones to it. Get the "real" specs too! At 15 amps max for a sub, you won't get much bang for your bucks. I also agree with the Infinity Basslink suggestion, and I can verify it can beat some serious lows, cuz mine has been performing well for years in my '93 Pontiac Bonneville...a land yacht! Basslink looks small, but built and sounds solid as a rock! Got it new on eBay for less than US $170. about 4 years ago. Do a google search for all-in-one subs, and compare features, specs, and cost. Find a quality brand you can trust. Good luck!
