I am installing an alarm with remote start (APS997) in my 2003 Murano and cannot seem to locate the parking light wire that I need to splice into.   I searched the post and it states driver side kick panel up high in the back.   They state it is a red and blue wire.  I was hoping someone could be more specific.  Like right side by the so and so or middle in.   There are a lot of wire under there.  I even downloaded the Nissan service manual and still have trouble located it.   Can I get this from the ECM?   Also ... Where is the tach wire located?  Do I need to go to the coil in the engine compartment?

Any help would be appreciated.   Thanks

Thomas

Dragon,  maybe this is where the confusion is.  When I hear kick panel I am thinking below the driver side dash.   Are you saying it is in the rear of the vehical?    Are there any wires under the dash the I can tap into?    Not sure what you mean when you say any wire not red or blue ignition coil for the tach.   So I do have to go to the coil in the engine carpartment?  Thanks
Thomas

There is a harness that runs to the back of the car down the drivers side. Look in there. I hope you are testing with a meter and not just going off of location.

Theres a grey plug up high (by your left foot) (more like your left foot's toes) next to the E-brake. RED / blue as stated!
