I'm frequently getting electric shocks when I touch the chassis on my vehicle. They resemble static shocks, any ideas on what my problem is?

the dry air and the seats of your vehicle get some static guard like you use on laundry and spray on your seats and you will see a great big reduction in static shocks. if not all of them gone. good luck
