Hey guys, Im new to these forums. I just wanted to stop in and get some opinions/comments on some work I've done.

The truck is an 04 F150 supercrew. Its 2 12w6's in the console. The guy I built it for wanted to keep the stock arm rest. Hope you guys like it.

Thanks for the compliments. Yeah I wasnt a big fan of the terminals either. I wanted to run the wires out the bottom and silicone around them, but the guy I was building it for wanted them to be easy to get to. I guess you could say it was one of those "the customer is always right" situations.

Its a little odd at first to hear the bass comming from the center of the vehicle instead of the back,  but I think it gave it a nice balance having one in the front seat and one in the back seat.

Quality wise it sounded great. He previously had a generic ported box. The one I built was sealed, and while I dont think it qute as loud as the ported one, it did sound much much cleaner. He's also pushing both subs with one JL 500.1. After he buys another amp I'll see what it really hits like

Thats a really clean install by the way. You ever thought of putting a grill over it some how our was more of the idea to see the subs for display or something?

The guy I built it for actually had metal grills that covered the subs. They just werent on there when I took the pics. I have thought about doing a similar design thats not quite as "flashy." I have the exact same truck and before I built that console I had made a similar one for my ride that houses one JL 10w3:Pics of recent console -- posted image.

I thought about build another one that would go in the same place. Basically have an enclosure that looks like an extention of the factory console. But this time I would mount the sub inside, hidden, and have the top closed off with the exception of a port. That way the sub is out of site, but I still get to have something a little flashy.
