i just recently installed a little system in the 07 tahoe. everything works perfectly, but the remote wire. i checked every single wire under the steering column with a dmm, then i connected the remote wire to every wire and the amp still stays on...i know its the pink wire, but for some reason its not reading it.

what type of amp is it?  Check to make sure the auto turn-on feature (if it has one) is disabled.
