Is it possible to disable the "caution beeps" which sound when you turn the key off? It is supposed to warn you to remove the face plate.....not all of us do that.

Try pressing and holding the volume knob and then pushing it until "beep" comes up, then press the forward arrow to turn off. I not sure if it will shut off the warning beeps, but it might work.

No that just turns off the beeps when you press buttons.

I know my friend's new -- within like maybe half a year -- Sony had that option somewhere in the interface when adjusting things but I can't remember how to get to it or if yours would have it

I know for a fact my friends had it because he didn't like it when I turned it off because he's weird and wanted to know when it was off or some junk like that.

Ok if you ever find out how to turn it off, let me know. I looked through the menu and didn't see it in there as well (for the caution beeps)
