remote start in a 2006 dodge ram 1500

hello just wondering if this car is actually hard to do is there alot of wiring to be done....Thats SIK!!!!

12volts  lt. blue/red (2A)  +  ignition harness Starter  dk. Last Dodge ram I did was 2 '05s- and soon found out the OEM design does not use a high blower motor relay- pull all that current through the ignition wires- and thus your remote starter box- if the blower is on high- you get all those amps through the R/S box- and I had a unit melt down because of it- and it actually caused the starter relay to energize and wear out the vehicle starter- what a mess- Dodge actually has had melt downs of their ignition wires- when no R/S is installed- so now a R/S really takes the blame when this happens-- so to fix- I wired 40 amp relays into the circuit- to keep the blower volts out of the brain box....and vowed not to do any more Dodge Rams......Go get a wiring diagram of the vehicle and study the circuit before this install to decide what to do- .....just my experience with it.......Brcidd - Engineer That Does Remote Starter Installs on the side.
