Does anybody know what i need to do to add a subwoofer to my 2003 yukon xl with stock radio.  on the doors over the speaker grill they have BOSE emblems. I am looking to retain original radio... somebody told me i need to rewire entire system and replace bose speaker.  help .  thanks

You can use a Line out converter ($20-$25), or PAC makes a module that will give you RCA outputs with no tapping into wires www.pac-audio.com

That might not be the case. The Bose might have a factory amplifier, and you would not want to use a loc off the head unit as those would be low level already. I'm not sure.

here's the real deal ... 

you need to go to the SUB output of the -BOSE amp in the center console .. 

should be 4 wires there - Green and Blue pairs those are the LOW pass output-

otherwies the others wont give you any bass- the BOSE AMP HiPasses all the other speakers .

PAC's part # OEM1 with the proper "C" cable will give you full range adjustable RCA outputs without having to cut into any cables. Cable and adaptor should be about $40.
There is no such thing as free installation!
