Doing a remote start for this vehicle and I have the wiring info for it just wondering if anyone has any tips for it. Like can I get the ignition wires anywhere else instead of the center consule. Just looking for any heads up.

heads up..
i was thinking of doing my mates. i didn't strip the console to look for a bypass but you have to put car in reverse before you han take key out of ignition on a manual trans(euro model). this causes problems with remote starting as you might have guessed
just something to look into before you start
Why oh Why didn't i take the blue pill

I don't have to worry about that, the one I'm working on is a auto.

There is a guy on Saabcentral.com who got it to work. He is the only person I know of that has done it successfully. Here is the link to the thread.....

Just wondering if anyone knows this but does the 2003 9-3 also have a passlock 2 with the transponder. I know with the 06 does but not sure about this one.

Day 2

I'm still working on this car but can't get anything to work on it. I have the wires hooked up correctly but the started won't engage. If anyone has done this before or attemted to get this done but failed let me know.

I did click the link but it really didn't do anything all it says is that guy did it on a 06 9-3. He doesn't really list any information.
