02 Dakota, The installer placed the led on top of the shroud
just behind the hazard warning switch, the led is not very bright, I purchased a varad to replace it but do not know how to remove the shroud, does it just snap together or are there screws from below, see a couple of what could be screw holes, thought I would ask before doing damage, the FSM mentions many times to remove it, but as far as I could see, never said how.
Thanks

There shoud be a few screws under the shroud you will need to remove. These hold the bottom piece to the column, but the two pieces also clip together.  It is pretty easy to break the clips if you do not pry then in the correct direction.  Take your time and do not force anything.
