Alpine 3549 amp, 1.5 cubic foot box

I need some advice. I have an Alpine 3549 300 Watt mono. I also have a 1.5 cubic foot box. I have 2 choices. 1. 1-Eclipse 10" DVC both 4ohm = 2 ohm load or choice two 2. 2-Older MTX Road Thunder PRO's 8ohm each = 4 ohm load What should I do? Run the 1 Eclipse in a 2 ohm config or the 2 MTX's in an isobaric & a 4 ohm config? The box was designed for the Eclipse but I have the other 2 just laying around and thought I might just use them. I know that the box design for a iso config is usually 1/2 the normal size. How would the box do at normal size? Thanks for any help. James Bond 007 Universal ExportsShane

Thanks for the posts. I have ran the Eclpise for a couple of weeks @ 2 ohms and had no problem. The amp does get warm but no thermal shutdown. But out of these two choices which one will have the most "bang for my buck".Shane
