Hey guys, kinda new here but I need some help.
I have a 10in Alpine Type R subwoofer and the rubber surrounding on top of the subwoofer, the outer ring that holds the cone and the sub together has come unglued from the cone. Sorry for my bad terminology but this is the rubber surrounding you can see on top of the sub that holds it all together that moves up and down. Is there a way I can just glue it back on to fix it? Or is there something I can do to fix it.
Any suggestions would be great,
Thx fellas

I wouldn't suggest gorilla glue...it needs to be clamped and it expands.
Some GOOP will work...or some thin epoxy
do it.

Ok well I looked around and found some stuff called E6000 that people suggested elitecaraudio.com. They say this stuff works really well.
The problem I have no is how to apply it. I know that it should be clamped down but not really knowing how to do it. I was wondering if I could just spread the glue and and tape it together with some painters tape. Would that be okay?

From personal experience, I wouldn't recommend the "spread-glue-use-tape" method, as you run the risk of damaging the surround. I'd probably do what aznboi3644 recommended and use GOOP. I've used it a while back with a JL10W0 sub I have, and it's STILL running great.

well you could easily scuff it by taping off the cone that isn't going to be connected to the surround
