Actually beleive it or not, you have about 5 seconds after you shut the car (close the door) to send a pulse. I tested this. I shut the door, the car starter stopped then I open the door and shut it again (closing mylights) and it works each time. This is why i wanted to use the Orange arm wire to trigger a relay. The book shows that the arm sends a 1 second pulse as soon as the car stops, so that gives me about 4 seconds to play with.

Problem is i cant get a pulse or anything from the Orange wire? Is the (-) 250mA enough to drive a relay? is that my problem? Im using the status wire (-) 250mA to drive my clutch bypass, so i dont know why its not working correctly!?!

Use a relay triggered by the ORANGE re-arm wire.
