I have a question about swapping out my current subs with subs of a bit better quality. Currently I'm running 2 JL 13W1's in a sealed box made to JL specs for this speaker, powered by a JL 500/1, I do not want to do anymore than drop in new subs, something like a pair of W3v3. With the amp and box combination would it be worth it to upgrade? I'm more about sound quality than over all boom but I want the volume to be there if I choose to use it.  Opinions please. Thanks

Probably not. The box won't be optimal, and the box is critical in subwoofer capabilities.
You could change woofers, but you'll HAVE to build a new enclosure.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
