If you have the correct wire to activate the horn and it still doesn't work, chances are you will need a relay for it.

You need to test the wire you are tied into with a volt meter to determine whether the wire is a negative or positve trigger circuit. The negative trigger comes from the steering wheel and activates a horn relay. The horn relay converts the negative into a high current 12 volt + pulse and sends this to the horn to make it work. Once you have determined that, you need to determine if your alarm horn output is what you need for that wire. If it isn't, then you need a relay to convert the pulse from the alarm to the opposite of it. it may also only be a programming issue with the alarm. The horn output may be turned off by default. Read your install manual to find out.

The Viper will connect directly to that car. You need to run the brown horn output wire directly to the yellow/lt. green horn trigger wire located at the steering column harness. No relays are needed...

thank for your replys...
actually it works, it worked ever since I wored it up... It just sounds when the alarm is in full alarm... :-)
I actually wanted to use bothe siren and horn to honk when I arm and disarm... But the options are the siren only chirps or the horn not the two together...   Is there anyway to do that??
