Hey everyone,

A friend at work is trying to install this remote starter, in said car. I dont know the model number on the starter I forgot to ask. He also has the 555L bypass.

After reading the searched forum he seams to be having the same problem as everyone else. The vehicle shuts down after startup.

Without knowing the starter model, any general suggestions for remedy?

Thank you.

Fuel pump might not be fireing up.... grey in the drivers kick. pulses 1 sec before crank, stops during crank, then goes hot after startup....

Sounds like a passlock II issue. When that isn't bypassed correctly, it will shutdown right after startup when remote started. I assume the car starts fine with the key? Does it remote start with the key in the ignition?

Make sure that the status output wire/ground when running wire is sending a (-) signal to the 555L and also make sure that the 555L is hooked up properly and learned the R-Code properly as well.
