Ok, i've got an electric antenna.... when the radio it ON and the antenna goes UP... it goes up about 1/2 way then starts going CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK, like it's skipping gears... maybe like something is holding the antenna down.

then when the radio is off and the antenna retracts back down... it goes all the way down then CLICK CLICK CLICK again...

so i had a friend turn the radio on and when the antenna went up, i pulled it to help it out, it extended all the way without any clicking... then turned the radio off to see if it retracts all the way... it gets about 3 inches from the bottom then starts clicking again.

what is the problem here? do i need to 3in1 oil up the antenna so it's easier to retact? or what?

o yeah, this only happins when the weather is less then 20F and right now it's -3   DAMN COLD!

Yeah and I am used to Chicago's windy city weather and the weather that we have here in Florida is like a heat wave compared to up north.

Ooh, can I play, too?  It was 9 here in the morning.  My integra does the same thing when it's very cold....the antenna won't extend all the way, and won't go down all the way.  I considered spraying it with something, but never got around to it.  Usually, I'll just leave it.
