Hi All,

I am replacing the stock outside mirrors on my truck with heated and turn signal in mirror.  The truck now has electrically operated mirrors, so that hookup will not be a problem.

What I need is this: wiring schematic for hook up of the in-mirror turn signals and electric heat.  I relize that the electric heat will have to be controlled by a switch.  Do I need a switch that stays on for a limited time, or does it make a difference?

thanks for your time.

What do the heated mirrors come from? Make/model/year?

The mirrors are going on a 2000 Chevy Silvaredo 1500.  They are GMC OEM, to fit/work on Silvarado 2000-2006.  They have two plugs, one black and one blue.  They are electrically adjusted, like the stock mirrors that are currently on the truck.  What I need are the pinouts for the electric heat and turn signals and where to pickup the output.

thanks

Have you tried them on  your truck. The reason I ask is I just installed some power heated signal mirrors on a newer chevy and the plugs were already set-up for this, I just plugged them and every thing works. According to gm tech they are pre-wired for all the features the only variable is the mirror itself..

Thanks for answering Jermey,

I have tried them and the electrical movement works  when I plug in the black plug.  The problem I'm having is I don't have a plug for the elec heat or turn signals.  The mirrors I have, have two plugs, black and blue.  No place to plug the blue one in.  That's the plug that i need the pinout for.  If i could get that, then I can find hookup where each pin goes.
