has anyone heard of g&s designs from back in the day?
Here's a brief description... Diamentions are L.2ft./W.7in./H.3in. Says "comp series 700" logo runs down middle of the amp. anodized red. inside electronics look like 2 large circuit boards butted together in 1 case. no cheap work in this puppy. if anyone has any info or who made this giant please respond.

Since then, they've gotten out of the amplifier business.  Look here at what they're doing now:

j/k, because I got a belly full of Yuengling Black & Tans (sorry about your luck, West Coast guys...).  I haven't heard of that brand and can't help out here.

No chrome-plated flame-bling subwoofer can compete with a Sugar and Spice tiara.

G&S designs is an old school company. They started out back in the late 80's and produced HQ amps and speakers. I've used them before in the mid 90's and was not disappointed. Can't tell aboit there new line up, but I'm sure it's just as good as ever. Check out there site http://www.gsredline.com/. Hope this helps.

I heard them at a local swap meet/flea market type deal..... not too good imo. Of course the only subs I could hear their amps on was massive audio subs, audiobahn, kenwood, nothing I would consider high sq. But I know they were overrated.
fiberglass reminds me of peanut brittle... but fiberglass tastes better!
