Wouldn't be a problem at all...more of rediculous...biggest I'd use is 12 gauge

Even with 6 amplifiers, the current draw on the remote lead is probably no more than one amp (but the relay is still important since the deck will only supply around 500 mA). 20 gauge is more than sufficient, but feel free to use bigger.
