I just installed a new starter in my 98 Expedition, due to failure. When i changed this out I had to disconnect the battery. Since I have done this the DEI Valet 561r starter isn't working do i need to relearn the transmitter like original. Or is there something wrong with my remote start?

Thanks

Warren

There is no reason disconnecting the battery should damage the remote start. Try relearning the transmitter, I see this happen all the time and that fixes it.

Good luck.

I think I have found the problem the 3 antenna wires green black red appear to have been broken, what type of connector is inside to connect wire to the white plug.
