OK, I need some advice. I have a 2001 Chevy S-10 and it takes has the Passlock 2 system. Now my question is, to add remote start, do I need the 555L or the 555T or is there no difference. I have been hearing both from friends and co-workers. I need more opinions. Which One? Thanks.

I may be wrong here, but I will put my two cents worth in... Both will work, the 555L is easier to install, it learns the values.  The 555T you have to adjust.  You can of course use relays to do the same thing.  Search in forums for the correct diagram to do so.  It is alot cheaper, althou time consuming.
