Hi guys,

I'm new here, and I need some help if you could....

I recently purchased a Thor remote starter / alarm on eBay, and spent six hours installing it today to no avail. I tested it after install, and for some reason it would only attempt  to start when the alarm was armed!  The blower came on, the lights flashed and it immediately shut down (never cranked). I connected everything according to what I've read here

A few things that I did not do.... I didn't have a hood pin hooked up, and I did not employ the starter kill feature of the unit. I don't know if I need to use this or not.  I have already discovered through perusing the forums that I will require some relays for the door lock / unlock and some resistors (which I have).

I've also read in these forums that the orange wire in the ignition harness is the airbag wire. I was under the impression that this is an accessory wire?

Can anyone give me some ideas as to why it didn't work?

Perhaps an order of operations that the unit goes through when activating?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500, black key.

I have the wiring diagram for it, if that is any use...                       Thanx much!

I also forgot to mention that it's the infamous Thor alarm / starter combo. Unfortunately, I bought it before I checked these forums out. Now I have a $99 hunk of stool that I can't get rid of.

Is anybody out there?

Help Please!!!!
