I had a sirius satelite radio installed in my 2000 Dodge Dakota a couple months ago, I have had no problems at all. However last night I was changed my battery and now the satelite radio does not work. Do I have to reset it, or something like that? When I turn the key the radio comes on and it says "updating"..... It does that everytime the satelite radio turns on. But then it says "Invalid Station" ... The rest of the functions are fine, such as cd player, and the tuner.

Thank you for any help that you can provide.

Okay guys, I called sirius customer support. They tried to send a signal to the radio..... no luck. Does anyone know if there is a type of hard reset, or some type of reset switch for the satelite reciever?

I heard that if I disconnect the satelite reciever from the radio, then plug it back in.... It should reset the reciever. Does anyone know if this will work?

I've never heard of doing that. You just might have blown a circuit in the sat radio.

No, I checked them before I did anything else.....

However I disconnected the Sirius Satelite reciever from the radio and let it stay off for about 10 mins. When I put it back in, it worked perfectly.

Thanks though Fastlearner!
