i have an expedition and im running 2 kicker L7's. they are in a 9 cube box at 40 hz. i did the calclations on WinISD and it came out to be about 130db's. i thought it would be higher but them i remembered cabin gain. what should i expect to be running at peak?

That's why we have real life SPL meters;  you can't calculate cabin gain, but you can assume 6 to 12 db with that setup (barring all other contributing factors...).  For comp, you're going to want to experiment with the tuning with the help of a meter.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
