I am in search of a new head-unit for my 89 Accord. I am looking for a stock looking (single din) stereo, and by that I mean not all flashy (silver face, lots of colors when it’s on, etc) and screaming “STEAL ME”. Unfortunately I live in a bad neighborhood, and while I’m pretty good at remembering to remove the stereo faceplate from my car…. I share the car with my dad during the summer (this car functions as my beater/winter car). He’s not very good at remembering to remove the ‘face’ (primarily because he believes that no one will steal from him… even though they’ve done so before :( ).
So yes, I’m looking for a plain looking CD player that has mp3 playback at least.

Whoops! I forgot that I’m not allowed to edit my post. Anyhow, I know that Nakamichi makes OEM looking stereos… but they are kind of pricey, and I’ve heard that they go bad after a while (from few searches that I did earlier this year). So yeah, are there any other options aside from Nakamichi?
