hi

i have  autostart  as-6650 tw-fm i did installed in gmc savanna 2002  and i am looking for tach wire is it violet or wite  and i looked under the hood  driver side i still cant find it  on the driver side under the hood only i found the fuse box ther is no  VCM  ther as the some web site says.

any help please

If you engine is 4.3 liter it is white. Other size engines may be purple. Does you GMC have a factory tachometer in the gauge cluster? If so, tap behind the cluster. Also you can go to anyone of the fuel injectors or coils.  It the uncommon wire color

TACH SIGNAL White At VCM module   AC 
 The VCM is located on the left side of the engine compartment. The WHITE tach wire is located in the bottom of the 2 wire harnesses. The VSS is in the same location.
