Just curious. Majority of Honda's out there use type b locks/unlocks with a (-) pulse on each... Most directWire data sheets show lock motor / unlock motor as being 5wi setup at a different location..
Question: any problems interfacing with relays the 5wi location vs. just using the (-) trigger type B? reason being, i have read here that the lock/unlock triggers also arm/disarm the fact security on odyssey EX's. Guessing maybe if you just interface the 5wi, then the fact arm/disarm won't activate with the door locks...
thoughts?
thanks again all!

NO, but why give 100% when all you need is 10%.
5 connection and 1 single connection. Time is $$$.

Correct, you are tapping on to the switch wire that operate the relays instead of the motor leg wire with the 5 wires.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.Honda Type B Locks Vs 5wi, Thoughts? -- posted image.
