Make sure that you use an AC voltage scale when measuring Tach. You can try the white wire in the same plug for tach. Make sure that you are grounding the unit to the vehicle chassis and not the dash. Program the unit for idle mode and then start it with the key. Push and hold the start button for 2 seconds while it is running and you will hear a couple of relays click. Turn the key off and take it out of the key cylinder. If the car stays running and the check engine light comes on in the cluster, then I would tend to say you have a Passlock problem.

Thank you again Jeff.   I am using a Autostart patsk-600 for the passlock bypass. This is how I have it wired

On the ignition there is a small ribbon cable that plugs in larger wire the colors are yellow /BLACK/ black n white   I cut the yellow wire and tied into it. The other wire for bulb test was the small black one that is located in the same plug as the two power wire.   the ignition input is tied with the Ignition wire on the remote start box. I have not hooked up the key sense output. I just started wondering if the ignition input is supposed to hook up to the tack wire ?

You have to tie in the BLUE wire on the bypass module to the STARTER wire on the remote starter & make sure that the key side and the carside of the cut data wire in on the right wires to the module.

Well The saga continues  I  programed the unit for idle mode . I could here the relays  but when the ing was tuened off the car stopped..  I do Have the blue wire on the starter wiew    and I have checked to make sure    the PURPLE / white wire is on the key side..   I then moved the tack wire to the white wire.. I did get 1.4v and when I reved up the engine it also moved up  unlike the PURPLE / white wire  which did not..   In any case the darn thing still wont start  ... Any Ideas?
