hey guys, im thinking of powering my cdt hd-60's with a new amp.  i have a old ppi art A300 that i am also thinking of using to power these with so i have 2 questions

should i use my ppi amp or get a new amp? will the ppi amp power these speakers for them to reach their potential?

if i were to get a new amp which ones should i look at? I would like a quality amp.  mcintosh if i could afford them, maybe zapco, xtant, audison? i dont care for brands that everyone has, so please dont say JL :) so what brands are good to use for my new speakers?  im trying to spend somewere around $250-300

should i get a 2 ch amp or a 4 ch amp? if in the future i was to want to add an extra driver for beter mid bass would a 4ch amp be beter for me?

thns guys

Your ppi would sound fine with the cdt's for now. If you want to had some mids later I would go for the xtant x604e. I'm not to sure of the pricing for that amp, I just know it puts out the power and it's clean.
