I have a wireless remote to turn on the main power for my neon lighting. I decided that I want to use the remote as the trigger for a relay and run an 8ga wire as the main power wire supplying power to the neons.

how would i wire this to a relay? would i need a diode on the remote wire to protect that?

thanks

85 switched ground out from your alarm

86 +12v FUSED

87 +12 FUSED

30 out to the + input of your neons.
